Steve's Hungry Bee and feeder cap and stand. This is our Honeybee feeding stimulant. Combine this with your regular feed and watch the bee population explode. This auction is for a 16 oz bottle. Add up to one teaspoon per quart of honeybee feed. (This product easily mixes into 1:1, 2:1, 1:2 sugar syrups or even HFCS.) I add one ounce to mix into 2 1/2 to 3 gallons of 1:1 sugar syrup in my own hives. A little goes a long way. This listing includes one feeder. The feeder is made with laser cut wood, and laser perforated jar cap. These are accurately fitted and I use them with my own hives. I am selling only the caps and the stands. Bottles / jars are not included. If you have bees, then you have jars. This way you save on shipping costs, and you can use any size jar that fits a standard mason jar lid. (recycle/repurpose those old Mayo jars and feed your bees! They are hungry and winter is right around the corner.) If using quart jars or half gallon jars, you can fit eight in a standard 10 frame hive. That is up to 4 gallons of feed!! Not a single drowned bee?! That's amazing! Steve's Hungry Bee This product is strong and effective. Be sure that you want your hives to grow when you feed this. One of our customers fed his bees with this supplement this past winter and had his "weaker" hive swarm in February! (He also was able to split his stronger hive into 7 honey producing hives by Spring.) This can also be combined with plain water in a spray bottle to aid in placing packages, swarm retrieval, cutouts, and combining hives. A mist of this product from a spray bottle will aid your smoker in calming "nervous" hives for inspection during nectar dearths. Our stimulant is made with Spearmint, Lemongrass, and Tea tree essential oils, a natural emulsifier, sugar, and water. I have been using this mix for years with excellent results. Sold Nationwide!!!
