This spindle motor and speed-control were part of a prototype manufacturing system that was still-born.  They were removed and stored in Air-Conditioned storage until I decided to sell it to make room for even more stuff. I found out that the unit is now considered obsolete by the manufacturer.  I have a copy of the Operating and Maintenance Instructions, which I will include with the unit. I ran the spindle through its speed-range and the motor and bearings sound excellent.  I have NO idea how many hours of use it has.  I doubt that it was very many or even any as the air-filter at the end of the motor is pristine.  There was a touch of surface rust on part of the body that I removed with scotch-brite.  This unit will make someone a wonderful addition to their 3-axis router project.
