Heathkit IT-11 Capacitance Resistance Bridge Tester Works Great. Condition is "Used". Hello. You are looking at a Heathkit IT-11 capacitor / resistance checker. I have put a fair amount of work into this one to make it a solid and accurate piece of test equipment. Power supply capacitors have been replaced. Two of the capacitance bridge settings were out of calibration. I hand selected new reference capacitor replacements to bring the bridge accuracy within 1% on these ranges. The third capacitance range and all resistance ranges were within spec. The bridge potentiometer was spotty and didn’t respond to cleaning, so it was replaced with a new wire-wound pot of the same specs as the original. The eye tube was weak and was replaced with an NOS RCA 6E5 tube (these are starting to get a bit pricey). Green eye tube glows brightly. All controls and switches were cleaned and lubricated and move smoothly. A few known good and bad electrolytic capacitors were tested for leakage and the unit was able to discern the good from the bad. Cabinet is in good condition. No reserve, so bid what you think it’s worth. High bidder owns it. There may be ones out there that have the functionality of this one, but it is likely that this one will work and hold accuracy as well and as long as one could expect.
