Its durable aluminum housing, high strength composite cable guide, and non-corrosive components all make this SRL supremely compact and lightweight. It incorporates a quick-action breaking system, and meets or exceeds all OSHA and ANSI standards. Medium Block Edge SRL is suitable for the following applications: MAXIMUM 1 user per Medium Block Edge SRL. Weight: 15 lbs. per unit. Personal Fall Arrest: Medium Block Edge SRLs may be used in Personal Fall Arrest applications as a component of a MAXIMUM 1 Personal Fall Arrest System. Structure must withstand loads applied in the directions permitted by the system of at least 5,000 lbs. Applicable D-ring: Dorsal. • Standard applications: No free fall is permitted. SRL must always be positioned at or above harness dorsal D-ring AND at or below anchor point. • Leading Edge (LE) applications: Maximum 2’ free fall. SRL may be positioned a maximum 2’ below harness dorsal D-ring or a maximum 2’ above anchor point. Restraint: Medium Block Edge SRLs may be used in Restraint applications. Restraint systems prevent workers from reaching the leading edge of a fall hazard. Always account for fully deployed length of SRL. Structure must withstand loads applied in the directions permitted by the system of at least 1,000 lbs. No free fall is permitted. May be used in either mobile or stationary applications. For mobile applications, attach SRL carabiner to harness Dorsal D-ring, and attach snap hook to selected anchorage connector. For stationary applications, attach SRL carabiner to selected anchorage connector, and attach snap hook to applicable harness D-ring.
