A few months back I had around 100 OCXO's to test and this unit was an incredibly helpful tool The "reference" input comes from your GPS, Rubidium, or Cesium oscillator. Your oscillator under test goes into the "test" input. The meter reads out directly in offsets in parts to the 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th. Input frequencies can be between 100 KHz and 1 Mhz in 100 Khz steps Or 1 Mhz to 5 Mhz in 1 Mhz steps. A very good work horse piece of equipment, and very accurate.
