SELF ADHESIVE FIBERGLASS DRYWALL TAPE FAST PRIORITY MAIL SHIPPING! I ship promptly, most often I can get to the post office the same day that your pament is posted by PayPal MADE IN THE USA EASIER-TO-USE 1 7/8" WIDTH- By using 1-7/8" width, instead of 2 inch, you do not have to be precise when taping recessed edge joints. When using 2 inch tape, if you wander a bit from perfectly straight, when you sand the 'mud' you may see tape edges. This width is easier to keep in the deepest part of the tapered joint. GIANT 500 FOOT ROLL- Personally, I like the core size in the large rolls. (Easier to grip) If you don't use it up in this project, stick the roll in a zip lock bag or wrap in cling kitchen wrap to keep the adhesive fresh about forever. SELF ADHESIVE- No need to pre-mud the joint. (Remember to dust the joint first, just as you would do with mud-on tapes.) NO STRAY STRINGS- This tape spools off the roll & cuts cleanly without leaving stray strings that only seem to be discovered when doing the final sanding. ELIMINATES BUBBLES & BLISTERS- This tape, being mesh, does not let bubbles form under itself. (But all mesh tapes give that same feature.) THIN PROFILE FOR BUTT JOINTS & REPAIRS- This model Fiba Tape is thin (still strong) so it will have a low profile when used on butt joints and repair patch panels. It's easier to hide than thicker tapes. (Hint- Cut a very slight angle in the drywall panels along the seam with a razor knife for an even narrower finished joint.) STRONG- FibaTape makes good stuff. It is super strong and bonds very well. If a joint is subject to movement, such as when the fresh lumber dries, this tape will hold without cracking your joint. COMPATIBLE- This tape is compatible with all pre-mixed joint compounds as well as 'hot mud', including Durabond and Easy Sand. It's compatible with Sheetrock, Wallboard and all other brands of drywall. It is compatible with many cement boards as well. Being 100% fiberglass, it's inherently alkali resistant. GREAT FOR CORNER BEADS- I use this tape across the flanges on all corner beads. It adds strength to the joint, especially if it gets crashed into or doors slam. By taping the bead flange with mesh tape, I've never had a cracked joint. WIDE PANEL GAP STRENGTHENING- If your panels have a big gap between them, fill the space about half way with compound and then press this tape down into the gap- You can wrinkle it up if desired. Now, finish filling to the level of the sheet faces. Next, tape & mud like normal. You will get a super strong joint and the filler-mud will not crack & crumble under the surface tape & mud. Hot mud (self mixed) works amazingly great with this trick & your fill coat will dry quickly. I've even used this tape with Bondo type fillers on steel panels. Super Strong fills. MOLD RESISTANT & WATER PROOF- Fiberglass tape is mold resistant & water from your joint compound will not cause any problems nor shrinkage. SUMMARY- I just, plain like FibaTape.
