Federal 700B-5 High Precision Comparator Stand with EHE-1031 Gage Instrument Product Details: Federal 700B-5 High Precision Comparator Stand with EHE-1031 Gage Instrument 10" wide x 10" deep x 23" high overall with an extremely heavy base and overall construction, making it very stable 5" wide x 6" deep table can slide in and out (loosen set screws underneath) There is an overall vertical adjustment of 10" at the column, and 8-3/4" from the surface of the table to the bottom of the instrument probe The instrument has two cables coming out of it for attaching to an amplifier or similar control device (not included) The height is adjusted by turning the crank on top. There is a large knob attached to a set screw in back for securing the height where you want it. The stand is very heavy duty and well made and in great condition with few blemishes as shown. The table is a little stained. I am not able to test the instrument, but imagine it works given the quality of the stand. It may need calibration since the last date on the stand is 2003.
