FARO Arm is a six axis portable co-ordinate measuring machine that allows an inspector to quickly and easily inspect parts directly on the shop floor. The FARO Arm can be used to make accurate measurements of the critical dimensions of a part.   The FARO Arm allows a machinist to inspect the part on the machine tools without removing it. It also provides inspection of parts and measurement reports to and is a vital part of most International quality management system. This model - the Faro Prime has some amazing features:     1.2 to 3.7m (4 to 12 ft.) spherical working volume     Accuracy from 0.016mm (0.0006 in.) to 0.060mm (0.0024in.)     Temperature Sensors: Allow the Arm to react to thermal variations for maximum portability and accuracy     Internal Counterbalance: Provides comfortable, stress-free usage This FaroArm is also Bluetooth® equipped, eliminating the need to tether the device to a laptop. An extended-use battery and composite material construction ensure shop floor durability, day after day. Together, these features make the Prime the ideal solution for basic measurements in inspection, reverse engineering, CAD-to-part analysis and anywhere else a high-accuracy, hard-probing measurement solution is needed.   The Prime is compatible with FARO’s CAM2 Measure 10 software and others, and is available now from FARO worldwide.  This is one of the most accurate FaroArm available.
