Fabulous Fit Dress Form Fitting System Duplicate Your Body on Any Dress Form! Have you ever wondered why a sleeve pulls, a side seam puckers, or why you can't move in your beautiful new jacket? You need Fabulous Fit! The dress form fitting solution for all body shapes and sizes! Our Fabulous Fit® Fitting System includes interchangeable life-like contoured pads and a cover (with industry grain lines) that allow women who wear the same size but are shaped differently, to customize each area of the bosom, waist, hips, butt, and thighs on the dress form. Now you can duplicate your fit model, mother, daughter, and clients using only one dress form! All of the pads are Interchangeable And…you’ll only need to do this once…then no more twisting and turning and pinning yourself! Shoulders can be made round, or sloping, by positioning the Shoulder Pads forward on the dress form; or can be made very straight or asymmetrical with the position of the pads. Bust lines can be duplicated (high, low, or fuller) by placing the Bust Pads at the vertical “up” or vertical “down” position, following the measurement chart. You can add to the sides with the long contoured Side Back Pads, for a smaller bust line, (by creating a wider back), or for creating a straight silhouette. Multiple body shapes can be duplicated and changed at will! The stretch cover, with industry grain lines, holds all the pads securely in place. By using all of the pads, and the filler pads, you can even change one dress form into three sizes and all the shapes in between! Your dress form will have a life-like touch to work with, steam on, and pin into…and it looks like a real body! Now you will easily identify why your jacket pulls across the shoulder, or why your clothes just don’t feel right when you move! You will also see the adjustments needed to change the seam, where to add the dart, the ease, or where to place the pocket. Even hemming is easy when the fabric falls over the natural curves of the body, duplicated on the dress form! How to pad your Dress Form Choosing Your Fitting System Size Patented Fitting System Target Measurements | Check your measurements against the following measurement chart, and choose a size that you would like your dress form to be when your shape and measurements are duplicated. SMALL Bust 30 to 34 Waist 22 to 25 Hips 32 to 34 MEDIUM Bust 35 to 37 Waist 26 to 32 Hips 35 to 39 LARGE Bust 38 to 43 Waist 33 to 39 Hips 40 to 43 EXTRA LARGE Bust 44 to 55 Waist 40 to 48 Hips 44 to 56 Seeing exactly how your clothes will look and feel on the dress form, gives every fitting a new dimension! The soft contoured pads adhere to the dress form under the stretch cover. As you stretch the cover over the form (or pull it up on the split leg form), tuck the pads under the cover at the vertical and horizontal measurements, following the measurement chart and diagram. Then check the shape and measurement, try something of your fit model's (or your own) on the dress form, and continue padding the next area. You can raise or lower the waist by placing the Stomach Pad at a higher or lower vertical position on the dress form. Upper Hip Pads are natural love handles, but can also double for a smaller butt, and Back Hip Pads will give you a natural hipline…“bag” or “bubble”. Thigh Pads can be raised or lowered for an “apple” to a “pear” shape, or for Petite to Tall. Filler Pads accommodate large bust lines, or butts, (underlying the basic pads) or can be placed along the waist to erase the hourglass of the dress form. If your vertical measurements are shorter or longer than the dress form you are shaping, the pads can be raised or lowered or re-positioned vertically, as you build out the form horizontally to duplicate your body shape and measurements.
