About The Light Source FEATURES: Powerful focused high power LED, enhanced by coated quartz lens, super brightness (250W halogen light source comparable) and super long life (over 40000hours) Accurate 5000-5800K pure white cold light. By rotating the silver collar, light intensity can be adjusted from 30% to 100% The light source can be placed on dock base to be charged, there is indicator on AC adaptor, light will change to green from red when charge is finished. There is charge hole on light source, so it can also be charged directly, it can keep working without battery under this mode, no worry about battery anymore. Use customized 26650 battery, 6800mAh super high capacity, provide 2 hours working time( 100% power). The battery is equipped with dual CMOS protection board and won't be overcharged. The power cord is 2 meters long, with USB connection, so when operated outdoor, you can charge the light source with your laptop or mobile power supply (or any other device with USB port). The light source can be powered by AC/DC adaptor directly to work without battery. Instead of comparing with similar product, we challenge 250W halogen light source directly! In the following test, we choose a widely used light source(shown in above picture). It is dual hole xenon light source, the left hole is 250W halogen light source. We use 2 rigid endoscopes, one is 10mm laparoscope and the other is 2.7mm endoscope. The result shows when EW-304 is connected directly to endoscope, the light intensity is higher than 250W halogen light source. When connected to light cable, 250W halogen light source is more powerful, but EW-304 is still amazing, about 150W halogen light source comparable. * Attention: Although this test is persuasive when compare different light source, it is not rigorous enough. The result will differ a lot from different endoscope and environment.
