Description:  Eico 955 Capacitor tester/comparator for caps in the .1 to 50 uFD range.  The unit is designed to function in two ranges: a lower capacitance range and the an upper roughly 10 to 50 uFD.  It is very clean and after recapping tested functionally okay.  We have no way to evaluate the accuracy but we know it is now working and can be taken to the next level by the right technician.  The full factory manual is available on line at the BAMA/EDEBRIS site.  Condition:  Vintage used item from an estate sale.  Very nice physical condition and we see no damage or  obvious issues.  The power on/off switch is mounted on the back of a rheostat and it was not working.  To get the set fired up, we put a simple lamp switch in the line cord.  This is an easy reversal if you can find the correct Clarol switch replacement.
