Dictaphone 3870 mini cassette dictating machine This set consists of a Dictaphone model 3870 dictation machine with a microphone handset control. The unit has an LED counter display, buttons labeled on/stand by, telephone, conference, speaker, stop, rewind, fast forward, reset and erase, and sliders for setting volume, tone, and speed. On the side is a two-pin headphone connector (headphones not included), an unlabelled phono connector, and a rectangular male 14-pin connector for the handset. The handset has buttons labeled cue, lock, F.F., record, stop and rewind/play. A mounting bracket is included. The unit takes 117V power. It uses microcassettes. A microcassette was inserted and the unit used to play, rewind, and record. Though old, it appears to be a good working unit.
