Up for sale today is a vintage trailer mounted DeWalt model GR 53 14" compound radial arm saw. These were manufactured between 1948 and 1953. Serial #101680. This is a single phase motor, 115/230 volt, unusual for the model GRs; most were 3 phase. Trailer-mounted on same era trailer. Tires are okay for local moving but need to be replaced for any distance. Has been in long term covered storage, recently unearthed. Everything works as it should, smooth travel of the arm, all compound adjustments move freely, runs well. It is pretty much impossible to find comparable quality in a modern saw, they just "don't make 'em like they used to." This would be perfect for the professional carpenter or homebuilder for the jobsite, or for the collector of vintage tools, or unmount it from the trailer and use it in your commercial or home woodworking shop. Pick up would be best, but I can deliver to a shipper of your choice or put you in touch with a shipping broker I use, however all shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer.
