Desi-Pak® is dimensionally stable, chemically inert, aluminum silicate clay packaged in non-dusting, air permeable bags. The internal structure of this clay is a network of microscopic pores that attract and hold water through physical adsorption. I hope I can be of service to you. Judy NOTE REGARDING REGNERATION OF SATURATED PRODUCT: The manufacturer prints on each package directions for regeneration, however, it's not the whole story. You must start the regeneration process in a low temperature oven and gradually, over a period of hours, bring the heat up to 245 degrees. If you place these bags in a 245 preheated oven, the moisture will be released too quickly and the bags may burst. Larger quantities and larger packets available.
