This auction is for the Unusual Alloy or Pot Metal Steel & Brass Clamp from a Vintage  6" Sears Craftsman Metal Lathe Model #109-20630  with  a 1 1/4" Gap between Bed rails and 2 1/2" point to point. The previous owner referred to it as a steady rest. It is @ 4 1/2" tall not counting the Brass Knob. The clamp part is about 1 5/8" wide and 1 3/4" Tall inside. Wear And Tear Dust and Dirt rust and pitting but in good working condition.  Local Pick-up Available in Troy Michigan about 10 miles North of Detroit. I may disassemble some parts for safe economical shipping. Please check complete contents of the box before disposing of the shipping materials! I will combine shipping on multiple purchases when practical. Please complete bidding before requesting a combined invoice. +++++I make every effort to package each item as safe and secure as possible. I insure most items depending on method of shipping and fragility of the item. Occasionally the USPS will lose or damage an item. The Post Office requires that the buyer bring the box and damaged item to the local Post Office to file a claim. If you prefer I can file a claim on -line.
