Both items are made in Sheffield England Burnisher: Has a beautifully turned genuine Rosewood handle, brass ferrule and highly polished high carbon steel rod. The Indian rosewood comes from managed forests.. Overall length is 11 1/2". A burnisher is an indispensable tool used to turn the thin burr on cabinet scrapers that makes them operate to effectively. Scrapers: Pair of Crown cabinet scrapers that are 2.5" x 5" x .032" thick, a standard size. They are made from medium carbon steel with a hardness of 40/42 Rockwell C. This specification gives good edge retention while allowing the "spring" of "flex" in the blade which gives the user control of the tool. All 4 edges are milled and not stamped.
