Crouse Hinds Traffic Controller Control DM-800 This is a used Crouse Hinds traffic control box. According to the information I could find, this appears to be the DM-800 model though it is not marked as such. I received a batch of these some time ago from the Highway Department when they switched out their system. The one you will receive will be similar to the one shown in the photo. It will be the same size and type but may have a few more or a few less modules than that shown. The modules installed in each unit include: Overlap Module, Control Module, 2 (or more) Vehicle Actuated Module W/PED, INT SEQ Module and a module with connectors labeled MSA, MSB and MSC. These units are untested and are being sold as-is. GENERAL INFORMATION: DM Series Controller Units are of solid-state digital design for use at intersections where there are wide variations in traffic volume. These units operate in conjunction with vehicle and/or pedestrian detectors to transfer right of way from one street, or phase, to another in response to traffic demand. DM Controller Units can be used in semi-actuated or fully–actuated applications. The DM200 Series is for two-phase operation; the DM400 Series is capable of two through four–phase applications; and the DM800 Series can be used for either sequential (single ring) or concurrent (dual ring) timing in two through eight phase applications. Exclusive pedestrian operation is also available in each DM controller unit.
