The DPS 824/16 is a digital programmed switch by CREI STT Electtronica designed for rotary encoders. With a 360 positions/turn resolution, it features 16 electronic cams that are auto-protected against overload and short circuits. Users can activate the linear advance function per cam or per bench, with the ability to store 10 sizes expandable up to 44, which can also be selected remotely via a 4-bit binary code. Alarm signals are automatically activated if the encoder is disconnected or if there is a short-circuit output to prevent damage to mechanical or electrical devices. Additionally, the device comes with easy programming in five languages (Italian, English, French, German, and Spanish) via a manual onboard keypad or remotely via software or serial port through an ASCII string. The DPS 824/16 is easy to assemble from the inside panel on a DIN guide with dimensions of 168x90x73 mm, making it suitable for use with absolute optical encoders. It can also be used with some SASIB and FMC horizontal wrappers. Please note that serial numbers and minor details may vary from those shown in pictures.
