This item is used. I purchased this item at an auction from a green house facility that closed. Works great. Spins and heats normal. I operated this one with no problems. The pictures shown are of the exact unit. Condition:  The hotplate/ stirrer is in good condition both cosmetically and functionally. The unit powers on and the digital display screens are clear and easy to read. All indicator lights are functioning properly.  Corning PC-420D digital magnetic laboratory hotplate stirrer with 5" x 7" ceramic top. Adjustable 60-1150 RPM.  Features:  Digital LED temperature display is adjustable in 5°C increments that blinks until set temperature of the top is reached.  Digital LED speed display gives you better control of your stirring process.  Microprocessor maintains consistent and repeatable temperature settings from 5°C up to 550°C.   Bright LED HOT TOP icon lights up when top plate is over 60°C, even when heat control is turned off.  Downloadable owner manual's can be found online by doing a search for corning pc-420d.
