Its transparent neon green tube and cover are made of polyurethane, which provides resistance to weathering and abrasion, and resistance to chemicals, oil, and other petroleum-based fluids. This hose provides both durability and flexibility at temperatures ranging from -40 to +165 degrees F. It is reinforced with a nylon braid that is extruded internally rather than bonded, so the hose will not experience component separation that can occur in other hoses after constant pulsating operations, such as with staple or nail guns, and it is resistant to kinking. It has a maximum pressure rating of 300 psi, and comes with a built-in strap for improved convenience in coiling, storing, and carrying after use. It also comes equipped with two factory-installed 1/4" brass automotive interchange fittings: one ball swivel coupler for improved tool maneuverability and ergonomics, and one air safety plug for controlled pressure release upon decoupling. This hose is manufactured as a lighter-weight alternative to bulkier rubber and plastic hoses for use in general contracting and industrial applications.
