Example: If you purchase 9 square feet of rubber, it may come in a 3ft x 3ft square or as 9 individual 12" x 12" sheets. Silicone Sponge is an excellent material for gasketing and padding applications that require a soft, compressible material. It offers good compression set. Sponge's non-interconnected closed cells prevent water absorption.
