NOTE: The only reason this Item is listed as "For Parts Or Repair" is because of the missing Motor Belt mentioned in the condition description below. To list an Item as "Used" it must function fully when shipped. Because of this we have no choice but to list this as parts or repair despite the fact that the belt replacement is an extremely easy fix. Carpenter Model 74-B 3-Head Swing Blade Cable Stripper. Surplus Stock From a Working Environment. Seemed functional when we received it but the belt that connects the Motor to the first Head broke at the start of Testing. Motor still runs strong and the heads rotated well when a makeshift belt substitute was used to test for vibrations and the like. Machine has Scuffs, Scratches, and Tape/Label Residue. Motor Runs Smoothly. Heads Turn Smoothly. As far as I can tell the only thing preventing this stripper from functioning is that the Belt that connects the Motor to the Heads is missing. Once this one Belt is replaced it should strip cables as intended. Other than that there are only a few missing or replaced parts that don't affect the machines overall function. The Set Screw that locks the depth of the center head was replaced at some point by a pan head screw. Interchangeable Wire guides used for small diameter cables are missing except for one. The machine can be used without them or replacements can be purchased or crafted with basic tools and skills. (Note that most of the Swing Blade Strippers on eBay are missing wire guides and are still listed as Fully Functional.) Also the plastic Safety Covers for the heads are missing. This does not affect the function but means a bit more care is needed in operating the machine. Seller assumes no responsibility for the added risk of operating the machine without safety covers.
