This organizer takes the panic out of tax season. Use it every year. Corrals your receipts, statements and papers so that you have all the records to help you be prepared for tax time. This is a new, un-used, un-opened item. The case is made of sturdy plastic material, with paper checklists and flexible plastic pockets in a three ring binder presentation. There are specific pockets for storing your last year's return and blank tax input forms; income; investments; business; contributions; retirement; dependents and other. Each section has a couple of pages on what needs to be in each section, and also some checklists to help you store your supporting information, e.g. a record of miscellaneous income; rental property income and expenses chart; business expenses checklist; charitable contributions log; retirement contributions log; dependent care log; medical expenses log; and some references where to find additional information. If you don't have the time when a document comes in, you can stuff it into the slot at the front of the case (the hatchback in-box) and then file those items in the appropriate sections once a week, month or quarter as you find time. If you keep good records, you stand a better chance of paying only the taxes required. Keeping track of all your documents can help prevent you from leaving tax dollars on the table.
