I have several of these,  they look like new inside,  the primer is scuffed up on the outside,  the threads have surface rust. they are fine thread. I tested one on my interstate airgas OX bottle and it fit just fine. I have seen the tanks with either fine thread like this  or coarse thread.  I have a complete set of each for mine that I painted dayglow orange. I install them as soon as I get  the full tanks home.  then when I empty a tank i put the black or green one from the gas co. back on so I can quickly see how many full and how many empty I have.  this is sold as is  you are bidding on one cap
