c.1912 AMERICAN TYPE FOUNDERS Lost Typeface Font TABARD - Fancy Specimen Sheet Considered a "lost" typeface, but redesigned today as the similar Gandy Dancer NF. This is an original specimen sheet/booklet for the typeface and associated border designs from American Type Founders Co. 4-pages, size about 11 x 8-1/2 inches. Condition: has flaws, including an edge tear, corner chips, handling. Sold as-is. Exceedingly rare. Lewis Buddy III - Magazine artist and letterer, b. 1872, d. 1941. He designed Roycroft and Tabard (which appeared, e.g., in the 1912 ATF Specimen book). If you want to upgrade to a quicker, more expensive postal class, you must let me know BEFORE you pay. 3) SALES TAX: Ebay has taken over all duties for sales tax collection for all states that require it. I have no control whatsoever over who pays sales tax, it is out of my hands. Let me know instead so I can fix the listing. If you do buy, the item described in the Title of the listing takes precedence over anything else.
