NC Vertical Lathes Bullard's new, all electric servo Dyn-Au-Tape IV vertical lathes are available in two basic configura- tions — the VTL with turret, ram and side heads and the all-new Tool Block Changer. These are the "Bullard Verticals," designed and built tor endurance, precision and maximum productiv- ity. They are NC or CNC. Table sizes range from 36 in. (910mm) to 124 in. (3150mm) in diameter. Dyn-Au-Tape IV VTLs, with a tive-sided turret hold ten tools. Op- tions include a ram head with either a tour or eight position indexing turret and a side head with four po- sitions and combinations of these heads. Bullard VTLs have been the Standard in the industry since 1880. In 1974, the ultimate in vertical lathes was introduced —the Dyn- Au-Tape IV Tool Block Changer. The basic machine is the same. lts operating concept is unique, The library of tools and the system to supply tools to the ram are inde- pendent. It's a vertical lathe that "stays in the cut." All tooi hand- ling, adjustment, even set-up for the next program are accomplished during "up-time." Tool blocks change in seconds. Production hours are cut to minutes.
