This meter and accessories were purchased in the early 1990s and used infrequently to make field measurements of highway traffic noise. These meters are great for other situations both interior and exterior. The meter and calibrator both work and require AA batteries (not included). These meters are of a rugged, robust design and can be used in a variety of situations. Please note that the terminals for one battery are damaged and small bits of foil are inserted to make the connection. This does not seem to affect operation. This listing consists of a Bruel & Kjaer Type 2236 Integrating Sound Level Meter.
