Shipping weight is 43lb. Very good condition. One owner since its purchase. Original Price $3800. All function work. Has not been calibrated for sometime. No operators manual found in file cabinets. Power supply has been upgraded to high temp capacitors. All rectifier diodes were replaced to improved version. This unit is unique in a sense it can easily be modified to accept external signal generator of a known quality. Even though the built in will do very good job, if for any reason you want to investigate an amp/preamp characteristics using various types of waves it may be worth considering to use an external signal generator. The unit has a built-in dummy load of 100Watt for left and right channels. If the amplifier is in excess of such power the system allows a simple external dummy-load hookup. The osc output ground is isolated from the rest ground by design. The osc is mono but it is split across four outputs to the front panel by design. The steps to test an amplifier THD or IM is a simple 123. As usual it is highly recommended you use this THD/IM analyzer along with Oscilloscope to monitor wave form. The product is designed with simplicity and ease for service if need be. Nearly all of the semiconductors used in the unit are still in the market. The Sine, IM and square waveforms are in good shape and currently maxes around 10Vpp. The THD reading does not appear to have changed in speed. From Set ---to--- Read, where it settles very quickly to what ever the THD or IM reading may be. This unit is grounded. It means the test bench should have an isolated power system via a transformer. The Brand is US, very rare and is priced right. Even though the unit is operational the item is sold AS/IS.
