This unit features both bipolar and mono-polar electro coagulation operations. 6 position mode switch controls 3 levels of bipolar operation. (Continuous, 1 second, 2 seconds) and 3 modes of mono polar (cut, coag, blend). Unit is also equipped with a Cole-Palmer Master Flex quick load water pump. Irrigation speed control allows variable control of flow rate.  E.S. power output control allows adjustment of R/F power output in both bipolar and mono-polar modes.  Unit comes with dual control foot switch and power cord. When powered up all lights and alarms function. Water pump activates when commanded and speed varies with control selection. Power output display also functions and varies with power output selection.  Due to not having a "Gold Probe" bipolar or standard mono-polar hemostasis catheter, operation of power output can no be confirmed, but is assumed to be functional. Also included is a short video from the manufacturer (Boston Scientific Microvasive), high lighting operation safety and maintenance .The original video is a VHS tape, but I also cut a DVD for more modern operation.  "The sale of this item may be subject to regulation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and state and local regulatory agencies.
