Instrument operates on 9 volt battery. Has front panel audio on-off switch, front panel fast-slow response switch, and high voltage adjust 0- 2KV. Typical GM detector operating voltage is 900 volts. Instrument has large clear 4 inch display meter. Instrument has 4 ranges: X1 which is 0 – 1000 cpm; X10 which is 0 – 10,000 cpm; X100 which is 0 – 100,000 cpm and X1000 which is 0 – 1,000,000 cpm. Detector calibrates at 3550 counts per minute (cpm) per mr/hr for industry standard Cesium-137.
