Bard MacBick Heated Shrink Wrap Press & Templates This unit has a compartment on the front that's 9" wide, 5.5" deep and 2" tall, with a roof that's a metal pressure plate that lowers when a cycle is triggered. A temperature control knob with settings from 10 to 100 controls the temperature of the upper plate, and there are indicator lights for the heater and press motor. Two buttons on the sides of the unit control the press; both must be pressed simultaneously to trigger it. The unit comes with a set of plexiglass templates with rubber and cork gaskets. The plexiglass templates include two solid slabs and two slabs with ten 1.5" square holes, one of which has its handle screwed on and the other of which is missing its screws. The cork gaskets include two with ten 1.5" square holes, two with eighteen 1" square slanted holes, and two with forty 0.75" by 0.5" holes. The rubber gaskets include two of the ten-hole pattern, one of the eighteen-hole pattern, and one of the forty-hole pattern. One of the ten-hole pattern rubber and cork gaskets each have a minor tear. How the unit was tested: When plugged in and turned on the heater warms up and the press triggers when the side buttons are pressed. This appears to be a good working unit.
