This motor was purchased for my small manual lathe because my main spindle motor stopped. After purchasing this motor to replace it we had replaced a capacitor on the original motor before we ever got this one completely installed. Tried to send this back, but we had scared the shaft when we took the pulley back off. This motor was never wired up at that point. This has then set on my shelf as a replacement if the lathe ever needed it again. I am now selling the small lathe and no longer need this motor as a replacement. See the picture showing the scar on the shaft. The original box will be the shipping method and the motor will be shrink wrapped to a board inside the box. The shaft key is still on the shaft. The scar on the shaft has no effect on putting a pulley on or off. This item was purchased for $675.
