USED AMPROBE ULD-300 ULTRA-SONIC LEAK DETECTOR.  When leaks occur they often generate an ultrasonic frequency that is beyond human hearing. Amprobe’s  ULD-300 converts these sounds into an audible range for easy detection. The ULD-300 tests pressurized air lines, refrigeration systems, and steam lines for leaks. Quickly and easily locate a leak location with this unique device. Locates arcing in electrical system Useful in finding the ends in buried pvc pipes Includes Parabola shield to reduce background noise, extension tube to access difficult or dangerous areaS Senses pressurized leaks, detects electrical arcing, and finds failing solenoids, valves, and bearings Ultrasonic sensor converts ultrasonic frequencies to an audible range so they can be heard Detects any pressurized leaking gas, including chlorofluorocarbon (CFCs), hydrofluorocarbon (HFCs), nitrogen (N), carbon dioxide (CO2), and steam Parabola horn aids leak detection from a distance and in noisy areas Extension tube provides additional reach for access to remote leaks
