When the pedal is pressed the unit feeds the wire in but it gets caught on something and doesn’t make it through (SEE PHOTOS). The section of the unit that bend, cuts, and presses the staples seem to be in working order. We do not have the necessary resources to further test this unit. If you accidentally peel the top plastic off, exposing the foam, just look for the next layer of plastic to lift the foam out cleanly.
