Sweet Chicken Homestead® 2 Different Breeds 6+ Light Brahma Standard Heritage Breed And 6+ English Buff Orpington Standard Heritage Breed 6 each breed plus extras, Hatching Eggs Light Brahma chickens are exceptionally majestic looking, quiet, gentle, and easy to handle by adults & children. They have a small pea comb, great size, heavy plumage, and have feathered legs & feet. Hens will weigh around 9 lbs, roosters around 12 lbs. They lay large brown eggs year round & are cold weather hardy. Light Brahma chickens originated in Asia and were brought to this country in mid-1800's. English Buff Orpingtons are often referred to as "Golden Beauties". They make excellent mothers, have beautiful golden plumage and a quiet disposition. They are easily handled & very good with children. Hens will weigh around 8 lbs. roosters around 10 lbs. They lay large brown eggs year round, are also cold weather hardy. They were recognized by the American Standard of Perfection in 1902 At the Sweet Chicken Homestead our chickens are bred for quality and temperament. We have a 98% hatch rate here on the homestead. Your hatch rate may be less due to shipping of the eggs. Your hatching eggs will be packed well with extra care in everyway as to arrive safely at your home, but there is always a possibility of cracked or damaged eggs caused during shipping.
