Special sale, may not ship for at least 10 days. I will message you thru ebay on the day I ship so you can get equipment set up an ready to go. Thank u!!! This auction is for a half dozen Belgian Bearded Mille Fleur D'uccle Bantam Hatching eggs. I ship as fast as I can after they are laid to insure freshness. USPS priority mail and priority express are offered for means of shipping. I wrap very well in lots of bubble wrap and ship in a standard usps box. Be aware usps boxes are insured thru usps in case breakage occurs. I haven't had many in the past arrive broken, but it has happened. So this is just an extra precaution. In case you receive any broken, be sure to take pictures immediately. I can't file a claim without the pictures. I cannot guarantee a hatch. I hatch them here with a 90-100% hatch rate. But that's straight from the nest and very little handling. I use a genesis hovabator. It's been the easiest best fit for me. Realize and be aware that when you buy online, the eggs are past thru the mail system thru probably several different temperatures and conditions and this may have an affect on your hatch. I have had buyers in the past tell me they had a 5-6 hatch, an then I've had some that may not get any. I'm not there to hatch, my equipment isn't used, and there is no way to know what conditions the eggs are in once they leave my home. These birds are pets. I have 4 roosters and 6 hens. All have been very gentle, easygoing birds. I have recently downsized before winter and this is the only breed I have left here. I sell a few of the eggs online to pay for my feed and upkeep of my birds. With it being winter time, I do collect eggs 3 times a day, morning, afternoon, and late afternoon. My barn is heated. My chickens and goats are as big apart of our family as our cats and dogs. We love them all and all have names. Happy and proud to give someone else the opportunity to have such sweet little birds. Coloring Mille fleur bantams boast a base feathering of deep brown, with each feather containing a black crescent pattern with a silver tip. These chickens have heavily feathered legs, giving the appearance of boots. There's also the less common blue mille fleur, which has a gray base instead of deep brown. You'll have to wait until after the chickens' initial molt for the full coloring to manifest itself. That occurs in the late summer or early fall of your chicken's first year. Size When full grown, hens weigh only 22 ounces and roosters weigh 26 ounces. Much of that weight is due to their heavy feathering. Temperament Mille fleur bantams generally have good temperaments, making them easy birds to handle for the novice chicken keeper or for kids. Because of their friendly dispositions, they make excellent pet chickens. Combined with their remarkable feather patterns, they're also good chickens for owners who like competing in chicken shows. Flying Just because the mille fleur is small, don't think it can't fly. It uses those tiny wings as well as, or better, than full-sized chickens. If you let them out in your backyard for some foraging and dust-bathing, make sure the fence is high enough so they won't fly over it onto the neighboring property. Eggs Your mille fleur hens will lay tiny cream-colored eggs. Care Mille fleur bantams are relatively easy to manage. They can do well in a small chicken house with screened outside run to protect them from predators. Unlike some other bantams, they suit cold climates, although far northern latitudes might be too much for them in winter. Like any chicken, they need constant access to fresh water and quality chicken feed. You can give them small amounts of fruit and veggies as treats. YOU ARE GARANTEED 6 EGGS TOTAL. I HAVE 6 HENS AND ALL DO NOT ALWAYS LAY EVERY DAY. IF I GET MORE THAN 6 IN A TWO DAYS TIMES, I WILL SEND AN EXTRA OR TWO. BUT I WILL NOT HOLD A 3RD DAY TO SEND EXTRA. ONLY EXPECT OR BID ON RECEIVING 6 EGGS. I'll let you know about what day these will ship once payment has been made. I ship fresh and I sell ahead of time, so they may not ship for a few days. As you know the chickens are in charge of laying the eggs haha! I have ro take what they give me, i don't get them on command lol! !!! Yr seriously, I'll message you when they ship. Thanks for your time! ###*****///----JUST IN CASE, I HAVE LISTED WITH CALCULATED SHIPPING. OF SHIPPING G ISN'T SHOWING UP YOU CAN CHECK BY ENTERING YOUR ZIP CODE.
