Up for sale is one box of 500 grade-305 Stainless Steel wood screws, ideal for your deck or privacy fence or any application where you want to avoid discoloration/degradation due to rust or chemical corrosion. (the picture shows 100, you get 5 times that) If you are just starting your fencing project, or if you are want to preserve the existing natural beauty of your recently installed privacy fence, these screws are precisely what you need. These pics are of my fence and they show the history of me & fences. Hence my switch to stainless.  I bought these in a huge batch and only used half so I am getting rid of the rest. There are several ways that fence pickets are attached to the rails: Staples or nails - typically used by cheap contractors. These rust and break after 5 years and stain the wood terribly Galvanized nails - a step up from staples or regular nails, but the chemicals in redwood/cedar or pressure treated lumber degrade the zink and the wood gets stained after a year or so Zinc or powder coated screws- these still stain lumber and pressure treated wood after a year or so Aluminum/bronze screws. These do not stain the wood, but are expensive and hard to find, and have mild corrosion. Stainless screws - these do not stain the wood, but are very expensive Specifications  #2 square drive bugle head Type-17 point for fast starts Coarse threads  draw the decking and other material tightly to the substrate Grade 305 Stainless steel resists exposure to sea water/spray Warning: In recent months a factory in China has taken this Ebay listing and copied it word-for-word, photo's included.
