This is a BIG Rambaudi milling spindle head with 50 taper and long shaft  that is being sold  for parts The spindle spins smoothly and freely  without any play but the bearings sound dry to me This is a BIG spindle head!    Look at picture #2... (the one with the spindle's long tail splined shaft pointing towards you) When I measured across the base at the very bottom of picture #2, the center to center distance between the two mounting holes on the opposite sides of the base, (in the flanged feet) measures about 16-1/2" across. If you don't see it in these pictures it is not included with this auction. (except the side cover inclosing the feed gear mechanisms shown in pics 6 & 8  IS included) Please contact us with any questions you might have about this spindle This spindle head is sold for local pick-up only If you ONLY want the spindle SHAFT(only the shaft that rotates without the round quill) I can remove that for you and sell it for the same price of $700.00 and will make a wooden crate to ship it in for free.
