Items recovered locally and sold AS IS. This auction is for a Lot of 3 Intermec CS40 Numeric Barcode Scanner Handheld PDA's, Protos for Parts Only. These are all in pretty nice shape, and were probably hardly ever used if at all. Just been sitting around here collecting dust. These are all prototype models, so I'm not positive if these can be used as a regular model, but should have all the same type parts in them as the regular production models. These will not have any batteries included. I did find one battery that was powerful enough to power it up, so when each one came up with the INTERMEC screen, the battery was pulled to save power on the only battery I have now to power on test these units. This at least shows you that the screens are all functional. The first and third units came up with a Qualcomm initial screen, while the second one came up with an Intermec screen. I let one (first one in picture 1 and one in picture 10) go through the whole process and it went to the main menu. The second one (second one in picture 1 and in picture 12) came up and said it was a CN50, so maybe when they tested these, they loaded it with CN50 software? Not sure. Might need to reload with CS40 software? Second one also came up with a Windows Mobile screen and ended up with the main menu screen that looks similar to unit 1's screen in picture 11. Last one came up with a Windows Mobile screen and then the main menu that was similar to picture 11. Even if these did not function normally, which they might with modification, there are some super nice parts still available for your regular post production CS40's: screens, scanner, case, keypads, stylus, etc. All of the units still have the original protective plastic tab covering the scanner (pic 5), so these are all probably never used, or if used, not very much. All have what looks like the camera on the back. All of the units say CAPTIVA PROTO B2 on the back. All have a stylus. These three have a different keypad than other models. These are strictly for parts only, but if you can get them to work as regular CS40 units, that is a bonus. Will probably not have any SIMS or cards of any kind in them, but not sure.
