CEL-Robox 3D Printer - this item has been removed from the box and turned on to ensure it worked, but has never been used to print. I received this printer from CEL Robox near the end of August 2014. This is a production model, hence the blue coloring. The early versions from the kick starter campaign are colored in green. The Robox 3D printer features a PEI bed surface (which helps PLA and ABS stick to the bed when hot), heated printer bed, auto leveling, dual nozzles, one .3mm and the other .8mm for prints as fine as 20 microns. This printer has a single print head. The head system is removable for easy replacement or upgrading to other heads that may be introduced in the future. Currently they are working on a 2nd head for dual color and/or material, and a 3d scanning head. This unit is truly an advancement of the 3d printing technology! The Robox uses it's own proprietary software, called Automaker, which comes with the printer. Pictures of Automaker screen is shown on this listing. Also included is a roll of Arctic White PLA material and Chroma Green ABS, both 1.75mm diameter. I am not including the original USB drive with the Automaker software because numerous updates have come out and the latest software is available on the CEL Robox website at no charge. I am selling this unit because I already have another Robox. The pictures shown in this listing are actual items I have printed on the Robox machine I own which I received at the same time, NOT the new one that is listed here -but it should be able to do just as well. The US Supreme Court building was printed in Arctic White PLA. The espresso cup print is Highway Orange ABS. These are not simple prints, and the Robox handled them nicely. I have posted the product specs below, from Robox. This printer won CES Editors choice 2014 in Las Vegas. I also included the features brochure in the pictures above, from Robox literature. I can make no guarantees on warranty or quality of prints, as I have not ever used this particular machine - I have extensively used my other Robox, exactly like this one, as shown in example prints. It has been my experience that there is no such thing as "plug and play" with any 3d printer but again, that's just my opinion. This machine is the closest I've come so far.
