2W 445nm 5.6mm M140 Blue Laser Diode with Glass Lens Brand New  5.6mm Diode extracted from the new M series projectors!  Better then the A140 diodes.  The M140 has the ability to run at higher currents and greater output.  You must use a "constant current" power source like a current limiting driver and a heatsink to cool these!  Do not hook these straight to a battery they will led and die! Do not over heat the diode its a good idea to press these into a module before soldering and then dont over heat the diode!  A low temp iron is best to use under 20w and let the diode cool between legs! (Laser pictured is not included in this auction only the diode) These should give a reliable 2.2w at 1.8a with some overdriven abilities in the 2.3-2.5w range Super Safe Current= 1.5a at 2w Suggested Current= 1.8a  at 2.3w Max Overdriven Current= 2a at 2.5w ( Depends on the diode this current may kill your diode only a select few are able to do this current with a 2.5w output! ) Check out laser pointer forums to see one of these run 2a at 4.7 volts and hit 2.5w Dont have a driver yet google the X-Drive These diodes are tested before leaving and due to the sensitive nature of them we wont be accepting returns or refunds.
