THIS IS A NEW ST 24KW GENERATOR/ALTERNATOR FOR DIESEL, GASOLINE ENGINE, OR MOST ANY POWER SOURCE Specifications: 24,000 watts continuous, surge rating approximately 10% of rated output 4-pole 1800RPM for 60Hz Shaft diameter is 48 mm Weight: 462 lbs Sealed bearings Bearings are packed with high temperature grease 2 bearing unit Western style rectifier Diesel engine requirement approximately 35 HP Gasoline engine requirement is approximately 48 HP 4 wire unit Series wiring provides 240Volts at 100 amps (provides the ability to center tap to get 120VAC at the same time) Parallel wiring provides 120Volts at 200 amps (120VAC only) Has 4 brushes Comes with the operations manual Bearings can support vertical installations Color may be Blue or Green The ST series single-phase A.C synchronous generators are of the dripproof salient 4 pole rotating field, self-excitation, and constant voltage. The insulation rating is class B. These generators are very heavy and rugged in construction and are easy to maintain and are built to IEC standards. The generator can be coupled directly to diesel or gasoline engines or by v-belts to maintain the generator at 1800 RPM at 60 Hz, in either clockwise or counterclockwise direction. It can also be connected to a PTO of a tractor. These units are used for heavy duty backup power and primary power for small towns, villages, ships, and mining operations, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
