They plug in to any standard 110v outlet and draws about 12-13 amps; charges completely in a few hours. Street legal to 35 MPH, fast enough for city life. All electric: no engine, no transmission, no cylinders. The cost of the electricity to operate an electric vehicle is less than two cents per mile. Compare that to how much you spend per mile on gas, no matter how low the price of oil. Not only are electric cars much better for the environment, as we all know, but they are also much safer to drive. With a limited top speed, any collision is much less serious. This makes electric a great choice for everyone: families, teenagers, and those who are getting along in years as well. The only maintenance this car ever needs is charging the batteries and air in the tires! Batteries are currently in good/fair condition.
