20 Neodymium Magnets 1/2" L x 1/2" W x 1/16" Block Rare Earth You are buying ONE lot of 20 Magnets.   Size: 1/2 inch long x 1/2 inch wide x 1/16" thick Block   (12.7 mm x 12.7 mm x 3.2 mm) Nickel (Ni) Plated (silver-like shine) Grade: N48 - Extremely powerful magnetic material Pull Force is approximately 3.5 pounds per piece against a 1" steel plate To learn more about magnetization, pull force, poles and other terms, CLICK HERE NEODYMIUM MAGNETS ARE NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN   These blocks are magnetized through their thickness, so the strong North/South poles are in the center of the large planes. That makes them easier to stack face to face than narrow edge to edge.   These magnets are plated with chrome instead of the typical nickel. This chrome coating offers comparable breakage and corrosion protection as nickel. In appearance, Chrome coated Neodymium Magnets have more of grey/blue coloration than nickel and the surface has a very slightly rougher texture.   The metal coating is durable, but ALL Neodymium magnets can chip or shatter. If used gently, these magnets can serve you for a lifetime.   These Neodymium Iron Boron magnets are also known as "Rare Earth" or NdFeB magnets. Neodymium magnets are simply incredible! They are far more powerful than those old horseshoe magnets most of us grew up with.   What can these magnets be used for?   They are fun to play with, but these magnets have many practical uses as well. Use them on the fridge. Put them to work in the tool shed. Use them as fasteners on cabinetry. They are great for science experiments. You are limited only by your imagination.
