I've been asked to sell a major collection from Central Maine. There are more than 50 steam gauges, over 30 flyball governors - some quite large, steam toys, scientific items and lots of brass. These are all fresh to the market, direct from the garage, shed and attic. Check my listings often or contact me if you have a specific need. OLD TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATES PRESENTS Here we have 80 pounds of serious "Balls to the Wall" engine feedback control. And from a very unusual manufacturer. The governor is 27" tall, 18" wide and weighs a full 80 pounds. It features flange fittings on both the inlet and the engine mount, 3 3/8" balls, SN 293445, a notation of 200 REV, the gears mesh cleanly, and noting one broken tooth. There is an embossed K E 4, just above the valve. In real need of a good cleaning to be rid of the surface rust, old grease and barn dirt. Flanges are both 6" o.d., and each has 4 - 5/8" bolt holes that look to be on 3 5/8" centers. The working parts look to be all present, I see what looks to be a missing threaded rod that connects to the speed control fork and I am not sure what belongs in the almost 3" open circle casting, see the 4th photo. This was turned by a chain in its previous life, that gear can be removed and replaced with a pulley. Item will need professional packing and mounting on a pallet, please take that cost into consideration when bidding. The pallet will run about $50, plus the packing, insurance and shipping.
