Up for your consideration is 12++ Large Fowl Cochin Fertile eggs for hatching via incubation or under a broody hen. Basically, you are paying for 12 eggs, and I am sending extras just in case one or two do not ship without damage. I have two cocks (one blue and one black) over 12 hens. Both of my cocks are Grand Champion Ribbon Winners. I have blue and black hens. No frizzles or splashes in my flock. My birds are all free ranged LF Cochins and are truly a gentle giant breed. The cocks are gentlemen for their ladies, and the hens love being carried around by me and my grandkids. If you are looking for a broody breed where the hens will set on any eggs that you put under them, then Cochins are perfect for you. These big girls can handle a bunch of eggs and are the best mamas when you choose to let a hen raise a brood. I pick up eggs three times a day. They are stored under our home in a dark and climate controlled space until I either ship them or start the incubation process myself. My hatch rate has always been nearly 100% when I incubate here. Like every other person who sells eggs over the Internet, I have no control over your hatch rate. However, my buyers last year were all very pleased with their hatch rates and with the chicks that the eggs produced. I ship eggs individually wrapped and double boxed. If you would like to have the box held for pick up at your local post office and/or marked live fertile eggs let me know before I ship. I will ship these eggs as they are fresh and available, usually within three days of auction end.
