I am offering 12 Isbar hatching eggs, this is the only pure bred green egg layer created by a Monk in Sweden About the Isbar They are a  docile, easy-going bird and are not destroying the landscape. Isbar Chickens  are one of the many chicken breeds created by a Catholic Monk in Sweden named Martin Silverudd in the 1950's . He is believed to have crossed the Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire and the sex link Cream Legbar chicken breeds to create the Isbar Chicken. The Isbar is a cold-hardy medium sized breed which produces around 250 large eggs per year. The eggs are shades of solid mint/moss green and can be with or without spots. The Isbar hens are consistently out laying every other breed through the winter. Isbars come in three colors blue, black, and splash. Since Isbar chickens do not breed true to their color, you will get different colors based upon the parents color. So for breeding purposes you truly want a mix of all 3 colors in your flock.  My Isbars are 1st import, 2nd import and a mix of both i have 2 splash, 2 black and 3 blue hens to a blue and a black rooster. They are from 4 different breeders which makes this a perfect start for a breeding program.   Please, note that hatch rate and fertility rates are 2 different things. Hatch rates can vary widely depend on the post offices handling of your eggs in transit and your incubation method. I do not guarantee hatch rate. I hand deliver to the post office just before the truck leaves for sorting facility, once they left my hands I can no longer be responsible for the condition of shipped eggs. Eggs can be held at the post office for your pickup. This is a good idea if you live in an area with very hot or cold weather. It may increase hatch rate. If you would like to do this I need your local post office address and your phone number so they can contact you upon the eggs arrival. NPIP FL some of the eggs in pics are not Isbar, they are for contrast to show color of the green Isbar eggs
