You are bidding on 10 brand new pieces of 2% Thoriated Tungsten. This tungsten is 1/8” diameter and 7” long. It has a red tip and meets ANSI/AWS spec A5.12 EWTh-2. This is first quality tungsten and is generally used with transformer based square wave or sine wave TIG welding machines in the DC mode for welding steel, stainless steel and 4130 tubing. HTP’s part number is TT2-718. This tungsten is suitable for use in all tig welders. A few examples are the Miller Econotig, Syncrowave 180, 200 and 250, Hobart Tigmate and Lincoln Precision Tig 175, 185, 255 and 275 welders. We may subsitute another well known brand of tungsten should we not be able to supply genuine HTP Tungsten. This tungsten is also suitable for use in Inverter machines for welding both AC and DC.
