To ensure neat sealant lines, mask areas adjacent to joints. If a primer is selected, follow primer manufacturer’s installation procedures. Application Titebond WeatherMaster Sealant comes ready to use. Use cartridge gun to apply sealant into openings or gaps surrounding the application. Fill joint opening to maximum capacity and repeat as necessary. Always apply sealant in a bead form. To ensure neat sealant lines, mask areas adjacent to joints. Once sealant is dry to the touch and does not transfer, remove masking tape. WeatherMaster is intended for exterior use. If used indoors, sealant must be painted.* Painting with a water-based (latex-based) paint may occur one hour after application. For other paint types, a compatibility test is recommended. Once Sealant is applied, do not smear, feather or wipe with solvents. Cleanup Uncured material may be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol.** After curing, excess sealant must be cut or scraped away. Follow solvent vendor’s precautions when using solvents. For Best Results Air, sealant and surface temperature should be above 0°F. If joint depth exceeds 1/2”, use backing material.
